Lockheed Martin provides Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)/SE Linux based HPC services throughout the lifecycle for computational requirements, architecture, acquisition, and operations to federal government customers. We are seeking a Software Engineering Associate Manager to support the Hedgehog Program as an Agile Leader and Scrum Master. The Manager will provide programmatic and technical leadership across the program relating to cost, schedule, and work products as well as the functional leadership responsibilities (appraisals, salary planning, etc.) for the team.

The Manager demonstrates strategic leadership through the SAFE Agile development process including participating in and providing guidance to product ownership/management, cost account management, facilitation of release planning activities, escalation and removal team impediments, management of risk and the drive for continuous improvement. Candidate should have the ability to energize the team, as well as drive, motivate, and keep the team focused on program milestones.

Basic Qualifications:
• Full Spectrum Leadership behavior, attitude and perspective
• Management of Cost and Schedule Experience
• Experience leading multiple teams of software and systems engineering efforts using Agile methods, processes and practices
• Management skills including communication, the ability to deal with unforeseen challenges, and building strong relationships.
Desired Skills:
• Agile Certified Scrum Master and/or Release Train Engineer experience
• Cost Account Management (CAM) training and experience
• Experience Interviewing and Building Teams

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: Standard Monday to Friday 40 hour work week
