Siemens Logistics is seeking a highly organized Project Scheduler to implement and oversee project schedules. In this role you will be based in our Irving office and collaborating with project managers, setting tasks, and monitoring the execution of project timelines. You may also prepare project progress and performance evaluation reports.

To ensure success, the project scheduler should possess solid industry knowledge and demonstrable experience in project scheduling. A top-notch project scheduler will be someone whose expertise leads to the successful realization of envisioned project goals.

Project Scheduler Responsibilities:


  • Consult with project managers and technical experts to set up assignments, tasks, and subtasks.
  • Read and interpret, regarding schedule creation, project contracts, schedule specifications, and DCMA scheduling guidelines.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an effective schedule management system.
  • Coordinate project timelines with internal departments and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor project timelines and deadlines.
  • Identify potential project schedule delays and facilitate intervention in a timely manner.
  • Evaluate performance and prepare project progress reports.
  • Facilitate updates and changes to project schedules and project baselines.
  • Recommend actions to keep projects within budget and completed on time.
  • Keep stakeholders informed of project timelines and deadlines.
  • Document project scheduling processes and maintain records.

Project Scheduler Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in project management or in a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience as a project scheduler in a related industry.
  • Advanced proficiency using project scheduling software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Extensive experience using scheduling best practices for planning and management.
  • In-depth understanding of the scope of projects within the industry.
  • Advanced ability to evaluate project progress, identify risks, and facilitate interventions to keep projects on track.
  • Ability to effectively keep stakeholders informed of project timelines and changes to such.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
  • Certification as a PMI scheduling professional (PMI-SP) is preferred.

• The starting pay range for this position is $66,100 – $89,000. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
