The Project Coordinator will be supporting the delivery of projects and initiatives within the Business Network Services portfolio in Enterprise Technology. This individual will work closely with both Engineers and Managers to ensure processes and standards are followed. Ensure critical project data is up to date and maintained in all systems (Project milestones, project compliance audits, status, stakeholders, financials, resources, …) across a large portfolio of projects.

The Project Coordinator will drive resource team forecasting through a 12-month rolling calendar. The Project Coordinator will also be required to manage small size initiatives and some project oversight. This role requires strong organization skills, attention to detail as well as the ability to communicate effectively across diverse audiences.



*Note: This an on-site role. The Project Coordinator is expected to be on-site in the office 4 days a week (Mon-Thurs)*

Responsibilities:


  • Manages Project Portfolio document repositories, ensuring they are maintained and updated
  • Confidently lead and drive complex, multi-team initiatives
  • Meet with engineers and managers on a regular basis to ensure team forecasting is maintained and updated
  • Work with cross discipline team members to validate project assumptions and review project plans with leadership
  • Communicate regular update to leadership on delivery project, plan update and budget spend and forecast, including status report updates, and other reporting as required.
  • Provide Project Status Reporting
  • Supports governance practices and protocols to control and monitor the program/projects
  • Ensure proactive scheduling of key deliverables, milestones, and deliverable tasks
  • Escalate key issues and risks to ensure timely resolution and mitigation
  • Actively participates in process and practice improvements in the project management environment and serves as a catalyst for project management excellence
  • Provides oversight to ensure critical day-to-day project deliverables
  • Accountable for driving execution and delivery of projects from start to finish


Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of using modern work management and collaboration tools (Microsoft 365, Slack, ServiceNow, etc)
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of using project management tools (Clarity, Smartsheet, Tableau etc)
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of project schedules, financials, takeaways, etc
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of data analysis including providing data metrics, data visualization, data reports to executive leadership.
  • A minimum of 1-3 years of data mesh, ensuring data is shared across multiple tools, teams, or lines of business

  • Escalates need for guidance and support to direct manager effectively and regularly
  • Utilizes highly developed communication skills to facilitate project-related or service delivery conversations with technology senior leaders/managers/directors and service owners alike
  • Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel, SmartSheets and other collaboration tools
  • Proven accomplishment as a driver of multiple projects running concurrently
  • Foster a team environment of self-organization, retrospect to learn and adapt with the goal of delivering the highest value to our guests and cast
  • Prior Disney Experience is preferred
  • PMP Certification


Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Software, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or comparable field of study, and/or equivalent work experience

The hiring range for CA is $114,900 to $154,100 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
