Siemens is looking to fill a permanent position as a Predictive Maintenance Engineer active in delivery and sales support to work within the Senseye Predictive Maintenance team.
Senseye Predictive Maintenance is an industry-leading cloud-based solution for predictive maintenance that was acquired by Siemens in 2022. With cutting-edge machine learning technologies, it empowers industrial customers to minimize unplanned downtime, optimize maintenance operations, and enhance the sustainability of their manufacturing processes. Through our bespoke web application, we offer a comprehensive overview of production equipment, highlighting assets in need of maintenance attention and delivering valuable insights to facilitate informed decision-making.
You will make an impact by:
Typical responsibilities include becoming a subject matter expert in the core application functionality (including product features such as diagnostics, prognostics and forecasting algorithms), training and support of regional delivery teams and partners in Senseye delivery practice, providing second line support for regional delivery and partners when they engage customers’ reliability engineering and maintenance personnel, analyzing sensor data for a broad spectrum of machines. Recommending suitable data features extraction and defining data pre-processing or additional contextual information which may be required. The applicant will assist in delivering user training in the effective and efficient use of the application and will be required to keep track of new and updated application features.
The role is customer facing, and applicants will spend a significant proportion of their time mentoring regional delivery teams, partners and customers on how to implement and gain value from Senseye Predictive Maintenance. Customer Satisfaction is key to our success.
The ability to independently manage projects and prioritize workload is a vital skill required for the position.
Ideally you will have a proven track record in the manufacturing and industrial sectors, to help accelerate growth by working closely with the sales team to secure the company’s position as the market leader.
You will win us over by having the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical subject such as Engineering, Physics or similar. Alternatively, extensive industrial experience will also be considered.
- Experience using Python (or similar) for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization highly desirable.
- Passion for data analytics and strong interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel and support sales and project activities from a technical perspective.
- Experience cooperating with software development teams.
- An appreciation for machine learning and signal processing methods is desired but not essential.
- Experience with cloud-based technologies and the IIOT would be an excellent additional asset.
- Experience with Python for data manipulation
- Fluency in Spanish Essential (due to attending technical meetings)
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

- The pay range for this position is $82,320 – $141,120. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
