Location: Newport Beach, CA

Job Description: Performs evaluation procedures to determine patients’ performance capacities and deficits such as functional, cognitive, visual and perceptual abilities. Manages multiple patients at the same time. Participates in educational events within the clinic and community. Attends specific clinical education coursework which meet the guidelines of California Board of Occupational Therapy and provides in-services to staff.

REQUIRED skills and experiences:

-Eighteen (18) months experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute healthcare system environment.
-Experience with a range of diagnoses including general medicine, orthopedics, neurology, and cardiopulmonary.
-Acute Rehabilitation Unit: Demonstrates competency in Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Quality Reporting Program (IRF QRP).
-May require travel to patent’s home for home evaluation.

-Previous experience with Microsoft Office and healthcare database systems.
-Bilingual or multilingual.

-Home health experience is highly preferred

-Geriatric home health experience required

-Kinnser EMR experience a plus

Schedule: Full Time, M-F 8:30 am- 5:30 pm

Job Type: 13-week contract

Compensation: $80.00 per hour
