Registered Nurse (RN)

Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 25 pounds, or standing/walking and sitting for long periods of time.

Monday – Friday, Day Shift; primarily 8:00 am – 4:30 pm (40 hrs/wk); other hours/schedule as needed; option for 4x 10-hour shifts

This position is located off-campus in Lexington, KY at UK Bluegrass Care Clinic in Beaumont Center.

The Nurse Clinical Ambulatory provides disease-specific patient care to patients within the Bluegrass Care Clinic. The position’s responsibilities include but are not limited to, skilled assessments, patient education, clinical care delivery and in basket management. The Nurse Clinical Ambulatory provides disease specific patient care to a group of patients who have serious acute and/or chronic health events or who are seeking healthcare to maintain their state of wellness. Responsibilities of the position include, but not limited to skilled assessments, care plans and care plan implementation, patient education and clinical evaluation or interventions.

This position requires working with medical professionals who are working under time and efficiency constraints in a busy ambulatory care setting with a patient centered care focus on quality, safety, and service. A working knowledge of enterprise, nursing, departmental policies, protocols, and procedures is needed to be successful.
