A Day in the Life
Mountain West – CO, UT, TX, OK
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Collaborates with key stakeholders to coordinate and execute service strategies to achieve short- and long-term business objectives within region as it relates to service activities and programs. Drive execution of key CRM service initiatives to achieve Regional level goals. Maximize regional personnel performance by managing, developing and motivating service employees to deliver unsurpassed patient care, physician/AHP service and technical expertise in the hospital, clinic and other care settings. Partner with sales teams to achieve implant, revenue, inventory and expense goals for Region.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Service Leadership
- Lead CRM service-related activities and programs to efficiently optimize resources, deliver customer value and deliver exceptional service
- Partner with sales team to drive key service initiatives and provide service assessments via periodic business reviews, RFPs, etc. that highlight the value of Medtronic service to our customers
- Lead and drive changes focused on service optimization and transformation along with new service models
- Collaborate with sales team and additional key stakeholders to coordinate and execute strategies to achieve service-related business objectives while supporting achievement of implant and revenue goals
- Work with regional and district leadership to align resources based on business priorities and appropriate service demands

Leading Technical Excellence
- Lead CRM Technical Field Engineer regional team and strategy
- Insure TFEs are operating effectively to support the business priorities, including Procedural Launches and Complex Training, Strategic Business Planning with Leadership, along with oversight of successful New Hire Training
- People Management
- Lead regional District Service Managers to execute on key goals and objectives
- Provide ongoing feedback and coaching to direct reports; provides regular performance reviews and implements corrective actions where necessary
- Assist employees with individual development planning
- Responsible for DSM and TFE staffing. Continually work to maintain a strong, diverse bench of TFE and DSM talent for future hiring opportunities and support regional Clinical Specialist bench.
- Business Operations
- Partner with internal field inventory managers to develop a regional strategy for optimized inventory performance, including but not limited to short dated, expired, stagnant, cycle counts, and critical inventory positioning.
- Ensure efficient, effective use of expenses, inventory, and assets within their regional team
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME
- BA/BS in engineering, life sciences, healthcare, nursing, exercise physiology or business
- 5 years of successful professional experience
- 3 years of experience directly managing employees in a healthcare organization
DESIRED/PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (optional):
- Demonstrated business acumen
- Experience in a healthcare related discipline
- Ability to learn and understand technical aspects of business
- Ability to manage, coach and develop both managers and employees
- Capable of critical/strategic thinking; ability to execute strategy
- Medtronic experience in role that interacts with CVG field organization
- Knowledge of local cardiac customer base
- Knowledge of Cardiac Rhythm Management service coverage requirements for implants and follow-ups
- Experience in sales, marketing, training, healthcare, technical services or related areas in the medical device industry

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):USA: $145,000 – $165,000
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
In addition to Base Salary, this position is eligible for a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP), which provides the opportunity to earn significant incentive compensation for achieving or exceeding your goals. Learn more about total rewards here.
