We are seeking candidates for a Design Engineer role. Compensation for this direct hire opportunity ranges between $55,000-$85,000 annually, depending on skills and experience. Interested? What you will do as a Design Engineer:

• Actively apply and practice fundamental engineering skills furthering the effectiveness and proficiency of the Design Engineering Department
• Create detailed models and drawings following proper drafting and dimensioning processes, and meeting design specifications
• Engage with R&D technicians and fabricators to create prototypes for concept validation and functional testing
• Evaluate Engineering data, under the supervision of Engineering Manager or other senor personnel, to ensure successful progression and completion of assignments
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of accurate and reliable project data
• Prepare written reports, professional plans and specifications for product lines or custom applications
• Responsible for the creation and maintenance of the Engineering Bill of Materials for new and existing product lines

What you need to be a Mechanical Engineer:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
• 3+ years of design experience in a related discipline with proven, quantifiable results
• Knowledge of engineering principles and ability to apply principles to projects
• Knowledge of engineering change control, product design, and prototyping processes
• Knowledge of Engineering Bill of Materials
• Knowledge of and ability to utilize basic GD&T principles
• Working knowledge of 3D CAD systems, experience with Solidworks preferred
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Vision)
