The primary focus of the LOGISTICS OPERATIONS SPECIALIST is the daily coordination and follow up on the status of commercial White Glove deliveries. The position would be responsible for the dispatch, follow up and confirmation of time-sensitive retail store deliveries.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Create orders in our TMS with accurate information to ensure on-time pickup/deliveries based on client needs.

·       Reach out to our local commercial van-line agent partners to secure pricing for local work and document all details of the quote.

·       Dispatch orders within the TMS to our local agents, send all paperwork, ensuring that all relevant information is accurate and document all  activity in our TMS.

·       Keep meticulous records of local agent warehousing activity in and out within our TMS.

·       Provide updates to our account managers on load statuses and update our TMS to reflect these updates.

·       Collect paperwork and final charges related to the local agent activity.

·       Assist account managers with project management as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

College degree in Business / Supply Chain Management preferred.

Minimum two years’ experience with White Glove Vanline or 3PL dispatching. Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, great verbal and written communication skills is required for this position.
