Lead Educator – Ambassador Animals and Guest Engagement

What’s your day like?

As a Full Time Lead Educator focusing on Animal Ambassadors and Guest Engagement, you will get training on handling and presenting animals from the Ambassador collection, manage the Docent volunteer program, and train other staff on presenting with our animals. This position will work closely with our animal care teams to ensure animals are being handled correctly while maintaining a safe environment for everyone. This positions requires a bachelors degree in education, conservation, or similar. Equivalent work experience is accepted as well. A minimum of 3 years experience in handling and presenting with live animals is a plus! This position will get trained on handling and presenting a variety of ambassador animals and utilize their stories for programs and shows.
