Description:Join Our Team as an Electrical Ground Support Equipment Manager where you will work on the development of Electrical Ground Support Equipment for a Navy program.
Location: This position does not support teleworking;the selected candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in: Littleton CO and be expected to work in the office full-time.

What does this role look like?
The role requires building up and maintain a high performing team that designs and delivers complex test systems within cost and schedule constraint. Additionally, it will require high levels of coordination with Vehicle Systems and Integration Teams. Assuring appropriate test, integration standards and processes are defined and followed. Deliver EGSE in a timely fashion in support of program needs. Success is measured by the ability to plan, schedule and execute within the constraints of a high complex environment.
Key activities you will accomplish in this role:
• Generation of executable plans
• Coordination of teams
• Establishment of team goals and objectives that align with the customer and leadership intentions.
• Champion engineering rigor and product development process compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Bring innovative ideas that influence the broader engineering tenets while aligning activities for efficient and successful engineering methodology.
• Troubleshoot complex equipment and perform effective system maintenance.
• Champion organizational change across the portfolio and optimize how the product lines operate.
To be effective in this role, you will need:
• Previous experience executing and leading (either technically or functionally) Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) teams
• 10+ years of professional experience
• An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position. Thus you are a US Citizen.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a related engineering discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Previous experience overseeing teams working with highly technical electrical and/or software systems.
• Proven ability to manage and lead teams through periods of change and transformation
• An active DoD Top Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position. Thus you are a US Citizen.
Desired Skills:
• Demonstrated skills in team building and creating cohesive teams with entry level technical talent
• Demonstrated leadership with ability to lead multi-functional teams to communicate and coordinate across multiple disciplines internal and external to the organization
• Experience with requirements development, system design, problem analysis and resolution, integration and test.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and keeping multiple top priorities moving forward
• Experience leading large diversified teams of engineering and programmatic staff to execute ATLO on high value, high visibility projects.
• Ability to multi-task, excellent communication skills, and full Spectrum Leadership (FSL) skills. Includes daily interaction with program top management on project status.
• Candidate must be a strategic, forward thinker with a can-do attitude
• High desire to provide customer satisfaction
• Ability to brief team accomplishments to program leadership
• Ownership to develop, produce, deliver, troubleshoot, and sustain the GSE product lines throughout the products lifecycles, where the scope of the responsibility includes technical, cost, schedule, quality, and risk/opportunity management.
• Thorough understanding of program, functional, and process metrics including Earned Value Management (EVM). Previous experience as a CAM highly desired.
• Previous experience executing and leading (either technically or functionally) Ground Support Equipment teams
• Ability to support occasional 24/7 operations

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $122,900 – $216,660. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
