Schedule: Per Diem

Shift: Rotating on-call shift, average of two 24hr call days per week, including some weekends and holidays.

Location: Hinsdale, IL

The role you’ll contribute:

Provides collaborative healthcare to support the continuous physical, emotional and informational support to women before, during and after pregnancy, including care of the newborn.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

• Aids with all facets of newborn care including feeding, changing diapers, comfort care measures, etc.
• Communicates patient needs to the healthcare provider.
• Provides labor support to family members and educates new parents with all of their newborn needs.
• Works as a member of the healthcare team and may require being on call.

The expertise and experience you’ll need to succeed:

Minimum qualifications:

• High School Diploma GED with 2 years of experience or Associate or Technical degree.
• Doula obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date

Preferred qualifications:

• Basic Life Support Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA)
