As a Data Visualization Manager in Consumer & Community Banking’s Data & Analytics (D&A) program management group, you’ll help ensure the successful delivery of complex technology projects and programs that enable attainment of business goals across the firm with your initial focus on our migration of analyst users, applications, and datasets from on-premises to cloud-based platforms.
Job responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, testing and implementation of data visualization projects to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into effective visual solutions.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and interactive visualizations using tools such as Tableau
- Unlock foundational insights to help define our data publisher and consumer migration strategy
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity by implementing best practices in data visualization and data management.
- Develop business focused dashboarding that enables analysts and data scientists to track progress and understand how the migration is impacting them.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data visualization and analytics.
- Communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner to various audiences, including senior management.
- Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of data sources and visualization tools.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in SQL, developing and managing advanced BI dashboards involving data visualization, data-driven analysis
- Strong Tableau/Power BI dashboard design, development and server deployment knowledge
- Robust Alteryx workflows development and server deployment knowledge.
- Experience writing complex SQL Queries for analyzing huge data sets.
- Strong understanding of testing methodologies and experience with test automation tools and frameworks
- Familiarity with programming tools such as Python, R or SAS.
- Experience working in data transformation & cloud migration projects.
- Solution-oriented problem solver with strong collaboration skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Knowledge of Jira and Agile practices
- PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
- Master’s degree in a technical field.
- Applicable cloud computing certifications are a plus.
