If so, the Amazon Extra Large (AMXL) supply chain team is looking for an experienced leader with a strong record of achieving results, to create and execute the worldwide AMXL supply chain by working closely with our retail and operations partners across the globe in order to effectively manage volume flows and fullness for our fulfillment centers and delivery stations.

The Business intelligence engineer will support the rapid growth of this initiative by developing business metrics, mining data to uncover consumer insights and business opportunity, and partnering with internal stakeholders to drive the business. In this role, the candidate will be focused on highly analytical projects driving results within the supply chain operations.



Key job responsibilities
– Work backwards from success criteria of key strategic initiatives and create KPIs to track overall status of the program
– Design and implement reporting solutions to enable stakeholders to manage the business and make effective decisions.
– Create robust and scalable data infrastructure to retrieve and analyze data
– Monitor existent dashboards, metrics, analyzing data and partnering with internal teams to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
– Support cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of the existent program implementation.
– Drive small to medium operational enhancement projects.

About the team
AMXL, formerly known as Special Handling, obsesses over customers by offering a white glove service where we deliver TVs and other large items like furniture in customers homes. Not only do we deliver large parcels, we unpack, assemble, install and sometimes even do tests, hauling away old items as needed. As we head into Peak, we continue to build our special handling fulfillment, delivery and services network and will add more fulfillment centers and delivery stations across NA and EU. We are currently in the process of building out a network that is poised for big growth in the coming years.



A unique feature of AMXL is it’s end-end business starting from procurement to customer returns. The TransAnalytics team assists with taking data driven decisions strategic, planning and execution decisions that impact all legs of fulfillment once the order has been placed by the customer. Key partners include leaders from – Product/Program, Operations, Finance and staffing teams

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


– 3+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
– Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
– Experience writing complex SQL queries
– Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
– Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS


– Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
– Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
