Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide safe, direct patient care in our ambulatory setting.
This role involves providing clinical leadership and mentorship to staff, as well as serving as a role model for excellence in patient care.
Responsibilities:
* Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessing their condition and nursing needs, setting goals, and utilizing appropriate nursing actions to achieve those goals.
* Administer medications and perform routine treatments as ordered by physicians.
* Assist with or institute emergency measures for sudden, adverse developments in patients.
* Participate in the reception and discharge areas, handling patient calls and triage using documentation.
* Ensure patient medical records contain necessary information and document lab cultures, follow-up on abnormal results, and other pertinent observations and reactions regarding patients to medical staff.
Requirements:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
* Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
* 3 years of directly related experience as a Registered Nurse
* Bilingual English, Spanish, Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo language skills preferred
* Current RN license in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement by NM, CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers within 30 days
Working Conditions:
* Moderate exposure to chemicals/dangerous equipment/materials
