Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced AVP of Retail Banking/Senior Branch Manager to lead our retail banking operations, drive sales growth, and enhance member experience at our three branches. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of retail banking products and services, and a proven track record in managing branch operations, all while fostering a culture of excellence and professionalism.



Key Responsibilities:


1.

Branch Operations Leadership:


– Oversee daily operations of the branch, ensuring compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.

– Implement and maintain operational standards to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.


– Manage branch resources, including staffing, scheduling, and budget adherence.


2. Sales and Business Development:


– Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet or exceed branch financial goals and targets.

– Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for new business development and customer acquisition.


– Monitor and analyze market trends to adjust strategies and products as needed.

Customer Experience Enhancement:


– Foster a customer-centric environment that prioritizes customer service excellence.

– Address customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.


– Engage with customers to build relationships and promote banking products and services.


4. Team Leadership and Development:


– Recruit, train, and develop branch staff to maximize performance and career growth.

– Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching and feedback to enhance team effectiveness.


– Promote a positive, collaborative workplace culture that encourages teamwork and employee engagement.

Risk Management and Compliance:


– Ensure the branch operates within the legal and regulatory framework governing the banking industry.

– Conduct regular audits and compliance checks to mitigate risk and prevent fraud.


– Report any suspicious activities in accordance with bank policies and procedures.


6. Community Involvement:


– Represent the bank within the local community, establishing and maintaining relationships with local businesses and organizations.

– Identify and participate in community events to promote the bank’s presence and outreach.



Qualifications:

– Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Banking, or a related field.


– Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail banking or financial services, with a focus on branch management and operations.

– Proven expertise in sales management, customer service, and team leadership.


– Strong understanding of banking products, services, and compliance regulations.

– Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.


– Ability to analyze financial statements, reports, and market data to make informed decisions.

– Proficient in banking software and technology utilized in retail operations.
