Role Details:
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of broadcast operations, production activities and broadcast audio boards. The A1 will live sound mix for each production whether it be studio shows or live game calls. The A1 will also work closely with the broadcast engineering team to audio engineer all productions.

Your Day-to-Day:
• Prepare Calrec Brio audio board for each production
• Plan with producer and director expectations for the show
• Operate Calrec Brio during all productions each shift
• Communicate with producer and director during productions all audio accommodations during productions

Qualifications:
What you bring to the team:
You have –
• At least 3 years of “hands-on” experience with audio boards
• Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news
• Since the schedules will rotate, you must be able to work all shifts, including weekends and overnights, and holidays. Must be able to work additional hours beyond scheduled shift with little or no notice if needed
• Experience with ELC OPERATIONS – calling and cutting News Broadcasts, Camera Robotics, Audio Consoles, Playout Servers, and Graphics Playback
You might also have –
• Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Communications or equivalent experience
• Experience with Calrec audio systems

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hiring Salary Range: $60,000.00 – 70,000.00.

The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
