Transform the everyday with us
Do you have a background in the Energy and Utilities industry with a growing focus on hydrogen? Are you skilled at working with industry, solution, and process experts to define differentiated messaging that wins in the marketplace? Do you understand the role that automation, digitalization, and integrated OT/IT solutions play in scaling clean energy ecosystems?
We are seeking an Energy Industry Marketer focused on the Hydrogen sector to define and develop compelling value propositions for Siemens Xcelerator and integrated automation technologies. This includes creating content that brings to life how Siemens delivers value across the hydrogen value chain-from production to storage and distribution-using our comprehensive digital and automation portfolio.
In this role, you will work with solution leaders, technical experts, and sales teams to develop strategic messaging, create integrated content, and drive demand through aligned campaigns. You will play a key role in enabling the field to communicate a cohesive, technical narrative that resonates with customers in the hydrogen market and contributes to pipeline and revenue growth.
We are looking for an Energy-Hydrogen Industry Marketer. This position is remotely based in the US.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Leading content strategy and creation for hydrogen market campaigns, integrating automation and control system capabilities with Siemens’ broader digital thread.
- Collaborating across product marketing, industry experts, and field sales to translate technical capabilities into compelling customer-facing messaging.
- Developing scalable assets such as whitepapers, solution briefs, demo narratives, videos, and customer case studies aligned to specific hydrogen applications.
- Managing the campaign lifecycle, including messaging alignment, persona development, field enablement, and measurement of campaign performance.
- Identifying and communicating how Siemens’ automation, edge computing, and digital twin solutions create synergies across the hydrogen ecosystem.
- Equipping sales and business development teams with clear, differentiated value messaging and tailored collateral for executive and technical stakeholders.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, or Business
- 5+ years’ experience in or working with the energy industry, ideally with exposure to hydrogen, renewables, or industrial automation
- 5+ years experience of demonstrated experience in B2B content marketing, including messaging, collateral development, and campaign execution
- 5+ years of experience translating complex technical solutions into business value messaging
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and marketing automation tools
- Must be authorized to work in US without the need for sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong marketing experience working with engineering and/or manufacturing-oriented software solutions in the energy market, with a focus on hydrogen or oil & gas
- Familiarity with industrial automation platforms, digital operations, and industrial software
- Ability to facilitate, manage, and lead cross-functional teams to drive project completion
- Excellent written skills, including the ability to develop clear messaging concepts and author appropriate content to support marketing execution and sales enablement
- Must be a flexible and creative individual, capable of leading and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, often ambiguous and diverse environment
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision-this is an individual contributor role
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills to build collaborative working relationships
- Structured thinker with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
