Job Summary:

The Walt Disney Company’s Enterprise Consumer Payments (ECP) team as part of Treasury is responsible for developing and implementing the global direct-to-consumer payments strategy, establishing appropriate risk management and risk mitigation measures, identifying and executing on operational and financial efficiencies, and managing global internal and external relationships in the consumer payments space. With total consumer payment volume exceeding $40B per year across the enterprise, the consumer payments group collaborates with all lines of business (LOBs) and senior management to ensure enterprise-wide alignment of initiatives and adherence to policies.

The Senior Manager, ECP Third-Party Strategy & Optimization will lead the development of strategy and optimization plans for key global consumer payments partnerships. This role involves rigorous data-driven financial and payments performance analysis to drive continued improvement and economic value to the enterprise. The position is critical to ensuring Disney is positioned to optimize the performance of its global third-party consumer payments relationships.



Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with service providers and internal stakeholders to develop fact/data-driven business case analyses for consumer payment initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with the ECP team and LOBs to develop, refine, and implement third-party strategy supported by insights-driven analyses and action plans.
  • Lead ongoing third-party performance metric tracking and analysis to identify guest experience, performance, and cost/revenue optimization opportunities.
  • Develop and support delivery of presentation materials aimed at LOB and/or executive stakeholders focusing on overall third-party strategy, opportunity analysis, and performance management/optimization.
  • Manage third-party supplier relationships for consumer payments data/analytics to ensure timely and accurate availability of critical information for analyses.


Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of business experience, preferably with consumer payments companies or in payments-related roles with global operations/exposure.
  • Knowledge and understanding of consumer payments operations and economics.
  • Excellent analytic and business-case modeling skills.
  • Strong matrix management and project management skills .
  • Exceptional project management and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills to stakeholders across all levels of organization.


Education:

  • Minimum – Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Preferred – MBA from a top-tier school

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, California is $165,700.00 to $202,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
