The Business Relations Coordinator provides support and manages the day-to-day administrative and operational needs of Operating Participants and the Business Relations team for the ESPN Wide World of Sports property to drive efficiency between all groups. They will establish and maintain processes and support the Business Relations Guest Experience Managers in executing pre-determined strategies and ensure day-to-day communication to Operating Participant locations is timely and consistent. The coordinator will ensure clear communication is disseminated amongst all partners in regard to Operating Participant events, maintenance and show quality, and all other property anomalies determined by the Business Relations Managers.

This is an hourly Full Time role reporting to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Business Relations Manager.


What You Will Do

The Coordinator supports the Business Relations Managers with the initial planning of events, site license agreements, and communication to the various partners on property and ordering all operational requirements for the event. They are accountable to be on site for the event, ensuring proper execution and communication. This includes being involved in initial conceptual discussions, collecting content input from a variety of lines of business, and the set up and recap of any successes and opportunities. The coordinator also manages the schedule and findings from Show Quality Standard and LifeSafety walks that occur within the Operating Participant business, and tracks action plans to hold partners accountable. Additionally, various company-wide initiatives, such as our partnership with the Environmental Integration team, are communicated to Operating Participants and driven by the coordinator. Finally, the Coordinator serves as a liaison and on-site resource for Operating Participants who utilize Disney Technology systems such as MATRA, Business Objects, Microsoft Office Suites.



Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven Knowledge and understanding of Walt Disney World policies and procedures
  • Ability to build relationships and establish trust quickly
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated strong partnering skills
  • Proven influencing skills, ability to comfortably work with all organizational levels and handle confidential information
  • Demonstrated computer proficiency within a Windows environment
  • Proven knowledge of MATRA, Business Objects
  • Proficient with office software applications; Microsoft Office Suites: Teams, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Smartsheet, One Note and Share Point
  • Assisting with planning and implementing specific events, coordinating with various departments as needed
  • Ability to be flexible with work schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays

Preferred Qualifications


  • Operating Participant Experience/3rd Party Vendor Experience
  • Demonstrated strong guest services Skills
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, as well as continuous improvement process skills
  • Demonstrated strong networking skills

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
