What is the Storage Team, and why join?

Simply put, you’ll be the catalyst for new strategic business initiatives for the Storage team. What will you be doing?

The Storage Technical Solutions Architect will be responsible for working on and within the Storage business at WWT. This role’s core focus will be to provide Pre-Sales support to our account teams regarding Storage solutions, including network-attached storage, block and object storage. This position will lead new customer initiatives focusing on architecture and design in support of customer objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interlock with WWT Account Teams and our OEM Partners.

• Provide critical subject matter expertise and technical competence around NAS/SAN, object storage, data management, security, and other trending technologies and solutions.

• Collaborate with adjacent services teams to enhance the overall services offered in support of Storage solutions.

• Support the creation of innovative Storage labs in the WWT Advanced Technology Center (ATC) to support customer engagements.

• Educate and enable our field organization on Storage offerings, allowing them to correctly identify, size/scope, sell, and deliver opportunities and solutions.

• Develop and deliver new briefings, workshops, assessments, and training as foundational offerings to engage our customers in new pursuits related to Storage.

• Foster and develop partnerships and relationships that support WWT’s Go-to-Market strategy around Storage solutions.

• Build and support marketing and digital platform initiatives.

• Continuing education on the evolving Storage landscape, including related areas like cloud storage, data management, cyber resilience, and security implications for storage.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5+ years of experience consulting/architecting, implementing, and/or marketing Storage solutions, with a focus on large enterprise customers.

• Exceptional communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation), especially in presenting to an executive audience.

• Passion for identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.

• Solid understanding of process modeling and how technology can enable and improve processes.

• Experience developing original content (e.g., presentations, blog articles, whitepapers).

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment to produce outstanding results.

• Superior organizational, conflict resolution, and time management skills.

• Strong business and sales acumen.

• Self-Motivated to maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technologies.

• Ability for overnight travel (percentage may vary) to various company/client events, company workshops, summits, etc.

Specific Technology Skills:

• 5+ years architecting, assessing, and designing NAS/SAN/object Storage solutions for large enterprise customers.

• 5+ years deploying, integrating, and configuring Storage solutions for large enterprise customers.

• 5+ years with major storage OEM platforms (e.g., NetApp, Pure Storage, HPE, Dell, IBM, VAST, etc.).

• 3+ years integrating Storage technologies with infrastructure automation, virtualization, and enterprise service management solutions.

• 5+ years of experience working with enterprise server, storage, security, and networking infrastructure solutions and ecosystems.
