Job Duties

  • Oversees the front and back of the house operation in all bars and lounges that are owned and operated by Tropicana; including Boogie Nights, 10 North and Tango’s Lounge.
  • In conjunction with Advertising and Marketing, develop and execute strategies for Nightlife branding; including but not limited to branding Tropicana as the premier nightlife and bachelor/bachelorette celebration destination
  • Responsible for hiring, training, coaching, scheduling and terminating staff in all nightlife outlets and lounges.
  • Cultivates a team environment that provides exceptional guest service while ensuring that all staff members meet productivity, safety and established job performance standards.
  • Ensures cleanliness, organization, and compliance with applicable occupational, health and safety regulations and CHAB requirements.
  • Builds repeat customer business and loyalty through direct guest interaction, soliciting feedback, and troubleshooting customer complaints.
  • Works with tenants, internal departments and sponsors to schedule entertainment, plan special events and promotions and capitalize on marketing opportunities to drive revenue.
  • Coordinates with Advertising Department to capture celebrations/parties for social media use
  • Responsible for enhancing relationships between Nightlife Tenants, Hotel Operations, Marketing and F&B
  • Oversees inventory control procedures for each operation. Develops systems that ensure par stock waste is minimal and cash transactions are handled efficiently.
  • Ensures direct reports follow Family Style Service standards.
  • May perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Must have a minimum of two years experience management a high volume beverage outlet or night life operation.
  • Must have prior experience in managing cash handling and liquor inventory control.
  • Must be self motivated, able to work independently and have the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Must have demonstrated exceptional hospitality, interpersonal and guest service skills.
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Required to perform the customer service standards of the department
  • Computer knowledge required.
  • Knowledgeable of the Casino Control Act and Attendant Regulations, as well as company internal controls, policies and procedures.
