This is a Junior-Level position embedded within the Ogden Air Logistic Complex on Hill Air Force Base, Utah software maintenance group that develops and designs F-16 aircraft specific software for the aircraft Operational Flight Program (OFP) and/or sub-system flight computers.
What’s In It For You:
Responsibilities include:
• Provide on-site technical support in the development of aircraft OFPs.
• Develops subsystem and system level requirements, monitor software implementation, and coordinate processes with system test, flight test, and operational F-16 units.
• Interpret and decompose aircraft and weapons requirements to develop manual and automated tests.
• Coordinate and communicate with software test team members to plan and execute tests across the spectrum of the development processes.
• Document findings and results in accordance with established development and configuration management processes.
• This position may require occasional travel.
• Must be a US Citizen. Must possess at minimum an Interim Secret Security Clearance and be able to obtain a government Secret Security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

Basic Qualifications:
The following Basic Qualifications are skills that a candidate must possess to be considered for this position:
• Bachelors degree in systems engineering, test engineering, software engineering, electrical engineering, or another related technical field.
• Skills and experience investigating, defining, and developing software system requirements, candidates and/or features for system implementation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point.)
Desired Skills:
The following Desired Skills are not required but are those skills that would set a candidate apart from the others:
• Ability to effectively interface with civilian government, DoD, and industry representatives.
• Candidate must have good interpersonal skills and must be able to work well in a team environment.
• Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Aviation flight experience.
• Software and hardware integration, testing, troubleshooting experience
• Aircraft avionics knowledge
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9×80 every other Friday off
