Yellow Shoes? Check! Red pants? Check! We are currently looking for candidates to join our Costuming department! Costuming Cast Members at the Walt Disney World Resort ensure that the thousands of Entertainment and Operations costumed Cast Members are ready for the show daily. Here at Disney, our Costuming team plays a pivotal role in ensuring our world-class offerings dazzle and delight every single Guest! Costuming Cast Members issue costumes at various costuming facilities across property, checking garments to maintain show quality, transporting locker bags, loading, and unloading costumes and doing some in-house laundry. Costuming Cast Members may also have the opportunity to assist performers in our shows and parades.
You will report to the Costuming Manager.
The pay rate for this role in Florida is $18.00 per hour.

Responsibilities:
- Issue costumes to Cast Members at various locations across property
- Assist Cast Members with retrieving all necessary pieces of their costumes
- Perform basic vehicle safety checks when using a company vehicle
- Pack boxes and road cases
- Write repair tickets
- Attribute and link garments
- Clear out/maintain lockers and perform minor repairs
- Pull and process locker availability reports
- Maintain records for personal items retrieved from lockers
- Pre-set and strike Entertainment costumes
- Dress shows and parades, including performers in various stages of dress/undress
- Launder costumes and restock lines/drawers
- Complete show-quality and safety checks
- Deliver costumes to various locations across Walt Disney World property
- Perform basic inventory reconciliation and write up repairs for soft and hard goods
- Assist with quick costume changes potentially in confined spaces
- Assist dress performers including usage of technology components
Basic Qualifications:
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- A valid Driver’s License as you may be required to drive company vehicles
- Receptive to being around individuals in various stages of dress and undress
- Physical role requiring heavy lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, and kneeling
- Be able to work with and around costumes made of synthetic materials (fur, latex, Mylar, etc.)
- Work outside in various weather conditions or extreme temperatures
- Work at various heights or in enclosed dark spaces
- Work in venues with theatrical special effects (e.g. fog, strobe lights, etc.) , low-light levels, and willing to work at various heights
- Push or pull up to 46 lbs.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Team lift with 2 Cast Members a maximum of 85 lbs.

SCHEDULE AVAILABILTY
Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and some shifts may start as early as 5:00am while some may end as late as 3:00am, 4:00am or 5:00am. Please note that the principles of seniority are used to schedule all roles.
