About the role
We’re currently looking for a Next.js + WordPress Developer who can take ownership of both front-end and backend performance across our sites. You’ll be key in building high-performance pages, streamlining our WordPress architecture, and integrating clean APIs between systems.
This is a full-time, remote role. You’ll be responsible for solving technical challenges independently, while ensuring everything runs fast and smooth.
In this role, you’ll:

Build performant interfaces using Next.js and Tailwind CSS

Customize and maintain WordPress backend (themes, plugins, API)

Connect frontend to backend via clean API architecture

Optimize performance with Cloudflare edge functions, CDN, and caching
-
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines

Troubleshoot performance issues and suggest structural improvements

Ensure accessibility, SEO, and mobile responsiveness are baked in from the start

Work with RESTful APIs or GraphQL where needed

Write clean, scalable, maintainable code and contribute to reviews
About you
You’re a highly resourceful developer who thrives on solving problems and building systems that scale. You don’t wait for answers—you investigate, test, and figure it out. You understand the balance between performance, usability, and long-term maintainability.
You should have:

Strong experience in WordPress + Next.js development

Solid knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, and Tailwind CSS

Experience using the WordPress REST API or custom endpoints

Familiarity with state management tools like Redux or Context
-
Understanding of deployment pipelines, CI/CD workflows
-
A mindset for performance: SEO, speed, and optimization

Bonus: Experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or .NET

Strong debugging skills and attention to detail
